Roberto Bernardi

January 3rd, 2009

I really like these super realistic images by Roberto Bernardi.  Don’t be fooled they are oil paintings!  I can only imagine how long it would take to finish one.

I have always enjoyed looking at Terry Richardson’s photo shoots, but the past two that he has done with Marc Jacobs are pretty rad.

Long exposed

November 29th, 2008

The combination of leaving a camera shutter open for an extended amount of time and led lights can create some amazing effects.  LAPP (Light Art Performance Photography) has produced some really stunning photographs.

Tilt-Shift

November 16th, 2008

A popular trend in the photography world right now is tilt-shift.  The effect distorts the foreground and background of the image giving the image little depth of field.  This in turn makes the subject of the image look miniature although, they are not.  Pretty interesting effect, not to mention one of the photographers used Memorial Stadium as their subject.
